Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Revelations Consulting
Inc ("Edified Lab," "we," "us," or "our") handles
information in connection with the APIs and related services made
available at api.edifiedlab.com and
edifiedlab.com (the "Service").
1. The short version
The Service is a machine-to-machine API. There is no user account, no sign-up form, and no login. We do not knowingly collect names, email addresses, or other traditional personal-identity information as part of normal API use. What we do collect is described below.
2. Information we collect
| Category | What it is | Why we collect it |
|---|---|---|
| Request metadata | Route called, HTTP status, response time, and (for paid calls) the resource and settled amount. | Operating the Service, billing correctness, abuse detection, and reliability monitoring. |
| Network address | The source IP address of each request. | Rate limiting and abuse prevention. |
| Payment / wallet data | The blockchain address that settles a payment, the transaction hash, and the settled amount. | Necessary to verify and record payment. This data is a record of a transaction on a public blockchain (Base) — it is independently, permanently, and publicly visible on that ledger regardless of anything in this policy, and is not something we can alter, delete, or make private. See Section 5. |
| Submitted content | For endpoints that accept a document, URL, or query as input, the content of that input, transiently, for the duration needed to process and return a response. | Fulfilling the specific request you made. |
We do not require or collect your name, email address, physical address, or government-issued identification to use the Service.
3. How we use information
- To process and deliver the response to your request;
- To verify and record payment, and to detect and prevent double-spend, replay, or other fraudulent payment activity;
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse of the Service;
- To monitor, diagnose, and improve the reliability and performance of the Service;
- To comply with applicable law or respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use submitted request content to build advertising profiles.
4. Third-party service providers
Some requests are fulfilled, in whole or in part, using third-party infrastructure or data-processing providers, and all on-chain payments are verified and settled through Coinbase's Developer Platform (CDP) as our payment facilitator. Submitted request content necessary to fulfill a given call may be transmitted to such a provider solely for that purpose. We select providers that are contractually or by policy bound to reasonable confidentiality and security obligations, but a third-party provider's own privacy and security practices are outside our direct control.
5. Blockchain data is public and permanent
Payments for the Service are made on the Base blockchain, a public, permissionless ledger. Any address, transaction, and amount involved in a payment is inherently and permanently visible to anyone who inspects that ledger, independent of this Service and independent of anything we do or do not do with our own records. We cannot delete, redact, or restrict access to on-chain transaction data — any deletion or access request under Section 7 applies only to information held in our own, off-chain systems (e.g. request logs), not to the blockchain itself.
6. Data retention
We retain request metadata and payment records for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in Section 3, including accounting, security, and legal-compliance purposes, and may retain aggregated or de-identified data indefinitely. Transiently-submitted request content (Section 2) is not retained beyond what is needed to produce the response, except where a specific endpoint's published behavior states otherwise.
7. Your choices
Because the Service does not require an account, there is no account to delete. If you believe we hold off-chain information about you that you would like reviewed or removed, contact us using the details in Section 9 — we will respond as required by applicable law, subject to the blockchain limitation in Section 5.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are solely responsible for the security of any private key or credential you use to interact with the Service — see also our Terms of Service, Section 3.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to, and is not knowingly used by, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time by posting the revised version at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
